Alone

poem by: Martyn Richardson
Written on Dec 02, 2016

I lay here in bed,
Laying here all alone
I don't move or make a sound
Not saying a word, not wanting to moan.

Missing your arms
The touch of your finger tips
Missing you kiss me
Softly on my lips

I can smell your perfume
And the scent of your hair
I can almost feel you
But I don't think
You are there

I feel so empty
And lonely too
Lying in this bed
Missing you

I want to hold you
Like I did before
When you used to love me
When I was yours

So I lay here alone
With nothing to say
Makes no sense to me
Because you only inches away.
