"Dead Sea" Election Gods Sovereign Choice

poem by: Micah Griffie
Written on Nov 13, 2016

I once was DEAD at the bottom of the sea, a rotting corpse SIN eating away at me..drowning in Darkness anchored down by what I thought was right, trying to Guide my Life with out no light..floating next to the rest I couldn't tell I was a mess..Death seemed right, I thought it was life, Sin tasted so Good.. I allowed it to take me deeper than I intended to swim and it kept me longer than I intended to stay..I drowned in my Sins and didn't Know I Needed Saved..until one day a Light glistening over the water and shined on Me..I hid my face Cus it was so bright I was use to the Dark Sea..the scummy scales from my eyes were now open I could See..my Body was rotten I had drowned in Sins sea..I seen others next to me..Truth now became not relative But reality..my Chains became broken these pierced Hands were un- Shackling me..I was being coverd in this man's blood as he swam me to the top..wen we breached the water he gave me CPR..it was my First Breath of Life..I realized he Saved Me ..out of ALL the Dead in the sea He Chose me.. I looked like all the rest decomposing I was wretched i did nothing to deserve Life,..Yet He Chose me this Man named Christ....so thankful "The Dead Sea" by me
