Birthday wishes

poem by: Gemma Morgan
Written on Nov 08, 2016

As with most birthdays
When your a child
They are all simply tame
And rather mild
You have a party
Your friends come round
Lots of cake
Surrounded by things to make
As you get older
Things aren't the same
People are different now
There's real games
My one wish this year
Is nice and easy
Not bad things
Nobody's queezy
A simple day
A simple night
Filled with wishes
And angel delight.
