Noise

Many souls have passed by its part of me though
Where I go it's my role
The bodies slowly cool as the spirit passes through
Tubes lines drugs we refine blood pressure low or heart rate slow
Pushing boundaries of dying stopping people from expiring
Assiduous in care, your loved one there
Let me keep you in the know, 'tween my work as I go
Circulation keep perfusing, nothing here no amusing
Pulsation from the wrist, not no there get the gist
Pushing hard on the chest, charge the pads, set the voltage, stand back all clear, hold your breath
Rhythm as I see, I am still on my knees
Perspiration has set in, one-two-three... thirty
Glass vial brown accumulating, one milligram hits, trying to draw quick as quick
Forty minutes have now past, all of us there gasp...
Any reason not to call, let this one finally fall? No chance of them standing tall?
Down faces glance, all in a state of trance
Though we know this one had to go, our hearts are heavy still grasping
Now to tell you of the passing
In the expression I see the succession anticipation hope despair
Some are quite in grief that is their relief a later place alone in a zone
That where they will express everyone will condone
The scream comes from some through all we have done we could not save their loved one
Eerie like a silence with sound impact so deep and pronounced
