True Love
Love is not exclusive, we're always needing more. Love is not abusive, it doesn't settle scores. Love doesn't grow from fear, nor self esteem that lacks, Love isn't hard to bare, and doesn't break our backs. Love doesn't really hurt, the feeling is quite good, Love keeps us quite alert, and does just what it should. Love is never ending, don't bastardize it's name, Love is always sending, so don't end up in shame. Love does not expire, but it has ups and downs, Love can light a fire, reversing all our frowns. Love is never a rose, thorns are welcomed as well, Love does open not close, your heart under it's spell. Love is light and airy, it forms our very soul, Love is not so scary, and doesn't take a toll. Love is freely given, there are no hidden fees, Love is why we're livin', most everyone agrees. Love is all that exists, whether implied or true, Love tops all our lists, for love is me and you.

That's just it, Annie. Love, just like happiness, is always out there (somewhere). We have to recognize it in ourselves before we can share it with someone else. That last line, "love is me and you" is a generalization of all mankind, not myself and another individual. When relationships end up in complete heartache and worse, i don't believe true love had been achieved (or not maintained if it had been achieved initially). I'm still in a seeking mode for many of the things I write about; something to look forward to, and not yet achieved. Hope this explanation makes sense. Everyone deserves to be treated with special treatment because each and every person in special in his or her own way. Matching such traits with another person is the difficult part of the equation.
