Unconditional

There's was a story about you I never quite understood
Patience was my virtue and that's what it took

So determine to get what was mines,
In the mist of it all
I was holding on to what was meant for you and not just I

An unconditional love you have to explore
an unconditional love you have yet to meet

Every shed of a tear, every mark that we've made was only the beginning of what we have yet to create

Kids we bare, and time we share
An everlasting love that only seems fair
Not to you or I , but the kids we share

Not for them to have, but for them to see
Mom and Dad cared and that will never flee

What is lost in the world is what we hold on to
For the sake of the Lord Christ that's what we will show you

Eternal love that heart could hold
Never a sour bone in your soul

What has yet to explained
What has yet to be explored
Is only the soul asking for more
