In the middle

poem by: Aina A
Written on Oct 09, 2016

The little trees line the vast and undulating hill formations, way out deep in the nothingness that we seldom see.
My mind would journey there once in a while, it's sometimes a burning desire to simply run out there towards the middle of those trees.
I would inhale the earthly scented air and let it purify my soul.
This dream of mine I picture to be my ultimate personal paradise.
In moments strung together I would sit amidst the trees and soak my skin in the sweet sunshine warmth until the shadows begin to creep bidding a temporary farewell.
I would leave this dream this paradise when the cooling air brushes up against my skin, signalling good night.
