Home made!
Butterscotch or blankets
cakes or christening robes 
nothing could be better
for a mind that feels creates.
Every little detail 
a choice made by a bride :
the joy of celebrating love
with a unique wedding dress.

The daring of inception
the pride of "best in show"
and every  keen hand crafter 
knows the patience that's involved.
From primary school puppet
to haute couture coat dress
the christmas fete egg cosy
or Bob's elderflower wine
your efforts always open
a window to your soul.

In this automated lifestyle
in this world of the iphone
where all your life is public
and "me time " is so rare
what  luxury to reconnect
with life and skill and time
and all our long gone dear ones
who sat us on their knees 
and taught us how 
to knit and sew 
just like they had been shown !
