Soggy Biscuit

poem by: Jay Shades
Written on Sep 29, 2016

When you dip me do I taste better?
from time to time I might drop in your brew
Am not purposely doing it.
If anyone's to blame it's you,
you're the one leaving me long enough in there.
You pulled me out that pack but left my brothers
Am not different to any of them,
wish I could go back.
What is life when am awaiting your dunking flexes?
You don't care, cause once am gone it's on to the next
Do you ever feel like a soggy biscuit?

This is my cup of tea. I feel for that soggy biscuit as I sense it’s heart feels like the mug that it’s left in.
