Eternal Love

poem by: Theresa Taylor
Written on Sep 11, 2016

An ocean could not make the waves we make when we make love
And if you were a star I'd place you the highest in the sky
A light to guide me back to you, like a ship in the night
Universe after universe I'd cross to put your heart next to mine
Never stray too far for though plenty, precious is our time

I have read your poems when you were in Love "Wet temptations" and "Dark" were 2 of your best. Then falling out of love with the like of being heart broken in "Paper Thin", "Unicorn" (personal favorite) and then going back to a steamy loneliness that makes me want to hold you with "Never Ending Nights", "Prayer of the Lonely" and "Eternal Love". Girl you are goooooood!
