Depression

poem by: Julius Brian Cruz
Written on Aug 25, 2016

Life, Life! life is but pointless.
It begins and ends, no differences.
Pleasure pleasure, agony in your absence.
My dear, My dear, save me with your presence.

Seek and seek, yet only find pain.
Nothing but lost souls, drenched by dirty rain.
Attained the glimmer, yet all remained the same.
Sooner or later, we'll all go insane.

All of us All of us, just a bunch of crazy clowns.
Going on day by day, nothing but smiles and frowns.
Wear a veneer of happiness, with everyone to laugh and smile.
Yet beneath there's sadness, all alone we tear and cry.

So life life! life is just pointless.
It begins and ends, no differences.
Agony agony, pleasure in your absence.
Death Death, save me with your presence...

Cecilia Crasto commented:
Laughing on the outside and crying on the inside, I get what you're saying, and you expressed it so well.
Christopher Russon commented:
Some of the funniest people I have met are the saddest. Nice poem .we should never be fooled by laughter.
