Soon

poem by: Lourdes Luna

When will I no longer crave your company?
The looks you’d give me
The laughs
The safety
that I made up in my mind

I think about these times
and I get sad
I’m not too proud to admit
I miss you

Being lonely is devastating
but the pain of your so called love is worse
So i’ll live without you
And this is when I know
I’m becoming stronger

You’ll be gone, soon.
