Not Awake

Not Awake

A light mist,
Early morning hours,
Still skies,
Still air,
The world feels like ours.

Morning dew resting,
Dawn is here,
Rising slowly, unresisting.

Quiet and crisp,
Unaware,
Birds start to sing,
The sun kisses the mist,
The world still sleeps.
