I and You

poem by: Zonisha Brown
Written on Aug 20, 2016

I am different, I am bold.
I can walk and I can run.
I talk, cry, sing, and sleep.

I am bullied, I am hiding.
I smile and I laugh.
I disgust myself.

You are misguided, you are cold.
You punch, kick, and scream.
You use and anger to feel pain.

You are abused, you are weak.
You cry, sob, and shout.
You are ashamed.

You and I will never be the same.

Paddy Clegg. Thank you for the feedback, I actually wrote this in my senior year of high school which was a very lonely and depressing time for me. I'm actually doing better now.
