Last Breath

poem by: Stephen Westerland
Written on Jul 21, 2016

My time has come
I’m losing my breath
I’m due for a visit
From the angel of death
But do not be sad
Remember my life
The joy that we shared
As husband and wife
The sad times the fun times
The moments that last
I’ll always be with you
Future present and past
So do not be upset
And please do not grieve
My body is going
But my spirit will never leave.
I’ve loved you always
I am yours you are mine
So my spirit will be with you
Until the end of time.
I love you.
