The Gift

poem by: Roxanne Dubarry
Written on Jul 18, 2016

The Gift some one gives you,
you don't like the way it fits.
How do you tell the giver,
thank you?

It is the thought that counts.
What gift do you have to give?
Just be yourself. Instead of
trying to walk a mile
in some one else's shoes.

The decisions you're making today,
will come back to you tomorrow.
We are people of different colors.
We are still human beings.
Given the best gift of all:
Life itself!

Love as always!
