MY NAME IS MUHAMMAD ALI

My name is Muhammad Ali,
and I am the number one.
God gave me a special gift -
to be his boxer' son.
Floated round the boxing
ring - just like a merry dance,
Making my opponents dizzy,
and sometimes in a trance!

I slipped up only once - but
I felt like a Star-Ship Trooper.
The only boxer who did knock
me down - was the brilliant
Henry Cooper.
I had a handsome face, and
I spoke my views very clear.
But when I was in the boxing
ring - my fists I'd carefully
steer!

My health in later years caused
me such concern.
But when I was in te boxing
ring - calories I would burn!
I always had my own style -
I did this so with ease.
But there was one fight I couldn't
win - the dreaded Parkinson's
disease.

I really had a good innings, I
know that to be true.
Now I will bow out - make way
for someone new.
I was the king of the boxing
ring - but now I'm finally free.
So now I'm off to Heaven -
Best Wishes From...Muhammad
Ali.
