What would Jesus Christ do today?

What would Jesus Christ do today?
If he walked the earth?
He would believe there
was no improvement
in humanity!

He would be horrified if he eye
witnessed the genocide committed
in the name of their chosen
radical faith! Filled with
hatred instead of love.

It would only break his heart
to behold the plight of the multitude
of refugees seeking sanction in various
countries. Unfortunately, the guilty
inter mingle with the innocents,
and canceling their chance of
religious liberty!

He would eye witnesses the violence
in city streets. The sexual violence
acts of passionate lusts, and murders!

He would eye witness the shedding
of innocent blood by blood stained hands.
All in the name of controlling the growing
the population of mankind.

Abruptly he would leave the earth,
and return to heaven. "I wonder why,
Father God you ever felt mankind was worth saving?

His father would shake his head and sigh,"
For the least of these, you shed your
Blood, and died on Calvary's Cross!

Jesus would smile and say, "I died to
redeem the children of men. In
order to spend my eternity with them!"

Love in Christ Jesus!

Well written Poem and so true.
Cecilia Crasto commented:
I don't think much has changed from Christ's time, if they could do that to a man without sin, why should we be surprised when we see what is happening in the world today.

Wishful thinking

Why waste the time of day in wishful thinking? Why spin cobwebs in the air? Why wish upon a star, when no one hears? Many years I have spent in wishful thinking. Day dreaming most of my life away. Wasting away the years, Ign... Read more

Jesus Christ is my major source of inspiration, it is quite obvious to me. Without his help, I would possess no talent for composing any of my inspirational Christian poetry. He provides the words to say. He lightens my heavy ... Read more
