there almost here

poem by: Melissa Blan
Written on May 26, 2016

I can hear them coming.
They're coming for me.
Getting closer and closer.
They're almost here.
I can hear their foot steps.
Where do I go?
Do I hide or run?
Or should I let them catch me?
They're almost here.
So close I hear them breathing,
And whispering their word of hate.
They're at the door.
As they open the door the caddle light peers in.
They're looking for me.
Their eyes full of fright as the get closer.
They almost have me.
They look trough the room.
And theres nothings.
eyes full of fear they leave the room.
Guess they can't see ghost. :)
