A time gone past

poem by: Andy Wilden

Although time may pass and distance might seem far,
We are all connected by love, merry meet and merry part.
Our paths may take different roads but all paths lead back to one,
Nature in all her beauty, magnificence and glory.
The bonds of love are not so easily broken,
They stand the eons and test of time itself.
As minutes turn to hours and years into millennium,
Our souls and spirits are eternal and so too is the love they carry.
Never fear the next step for each is chance to learn,
And in those times when you are weakest,
May my light raise you in strength, enduring always!
Under our great cosmos we live, love, learn and push forward,
Despite adversity, despite the pain of not wanting to continue,
The Lord and Lady raise you high of spirit and strength and guide your way,
Knowing that within you, all things are possible.
By the power of the elements and all natures guardians, imbue you,
With strength, with divine insight, with humbling patience and love for all.
Your life and your path stand at the precipice of the cosmos,
May your life be a never ending dance of love with nature itself!
A dance of romance between Land, sea, spirit and sky,
An eternal symphony of deep emotional connection to the earth mother.
Fortunate are we the Lord and Lady bless with their love and power,
Blessed are we, as guardians and keepers of the old religion.
