Time

poem by: Christopher Russon
Written on Apr 20, 2016

Time stops for no man
Time keeps hurrying on;
No sooner we arrive here,
No sooner are we gone.

Like the night brings forth the morning
And so, morn leads to day
Springtime spreads its blossom
Autumn takes it all away.

So let's just forget this thing called time
If only for a while
Just like a train moves on its rail
We travel time in style.

Yes we all get off at different stops
To reach our journeys end,
But who can tell us what awaits
As we turn the bend?

Let's carry on this time of travel
And be it with a smile
For we are not here very long
Only for a while.
