Id rather be alone than on my own

poem by: Alice Inwonderland
Written on Feb 07, 2016

All the years I’ve spent trying
Wasted memories, no use crying
No one to blame but me
I should have realised we weren’t meant to be

Waking in the dark
Restless nights I pondered
Lost in my own thoughts
Through which I endlessly wondered

Until finally, I awoke
The light it shone right through
My heart it finally felt
Content to be with you
