You are who you are

I walked away from you
And wondered so long 
Just who you are
I wandered
But you were with me everywhere
You shook the mountains
You split the earth
You shattered the enemy
You protected me
You were with me on the side of the road
I won't forget you're kindness shown
You sheltered me in the storm
You wouldn't let them buy and sell me.
You gave me things to say and do
You stood with me against the enemy
You helped me to make wise decisions
You helped me to work
You let me see simple beauty
You brought people to help keep me company
You gave me joy and hope in my distress
You sent you're people to help me fight
You met my needs
You led me through the wilderness
You helped me to not be afraid
You kept me safe and brought me home
You are who you are 
And you will never change
