Can You Imagine

poem by: Timothy Nelson
Written on Oct 04, 2015

Can you imagine our Lord's new earth
An eternal home for the rebirth
No more sin nor suffering, just utter delight
I can just see the halos, they burn so bright

I see streets of gold and luscious lawns
And a golden sun that greets the dawn
Ivory white doves soaring through the sky
With angels a buzzing, we all can fly

I see His throne, it's surrounded by light
Such a feeling of love, engulfed by His might
He stands erect with His arms stretched out
And beckons us "Come," we give a great shout

"Hallelujah, Hallelujah" our voices sing
We've made it home to serve our King
Can you imagine how your heart would feel
If you were saved and this was real
