Colours

poem by: Ann Parks
Written on Jun 12, 2015

Crystal jewel jellies, colours to eat
red shiny patent to wear on my feet
blue yellow Iris so graceful and tall
dark green geometrics on the rug in my hall
the pure sparkling white of a wedding veil
mercury like haemotite
 pray what is your tale?
opals mysterious pink orange and blue
dance round in your being
in each light anew
My Van Gogh print has a yellow sky
I see it's of summer don't need to ask why
The blanket I'm knitting from leftovers loud
whose beauty assembled would make Joseph proud
We all have our own choice "my favourite! " we call
but I can't give prizes
I just love them all !
