Face Value

Why is wrong so easy,
And right seems so hard?
Temptation is apparent,
Whether I like it or not.
Death, no breath and dark,
Life as bright as day.
If good is in my heart,
Why then must I wait?
How should I live,
If to breathe is my mistake?
Why am I alive,
When peace resides,
In the grave?
