Time

poem by: Ernest Areheart
Written on Apr 28, 2015

Beauty will entrap your mind
Leaving your feelings and heart behind
Lift the veil in your minds eye
Shuddering, shivering, sensing time

Formulate a new invention
Pull away from raw intention
Consecrate a boundless heart
Run astray and fall apart

Decide upon your own convictions
Rely upon your own perceptions
Live and die, becoming clearer
It's only you to see in the mirror

Hi Ernest, I really love this poem and the way you have used your words to convey an "ideological concept", that looks through a philosophical prism reflecting time and oneself... Inspirational "stuff".
