Definition of my name

poem by: Elizabeth J White
Written on Apr 27, 2015

My name is four letters and it is the definition of my name.
Not fancy or haughty, frilly..............no just plain

When you look at me your looking at country, not the kind from
just the music scene
But at one, with nature, picnics and places serene

From Blue Jeans and the kind of boots, made for working in
from pony tails, to fried chicken
the kind of world I'm living in.

From a simple little home, just happy with a place to sleep
that keeps me warm on cold nights and a table where I can eat.

Oh my name is nature and nature my name
No strings of pearls, that's not my world
country is my game.
