My Favorite Season

poem by: Kat Sapphire
Written on Apr 17, 2015

Leaves change color
All year around,
During this season
You can find them on the ground.

During the night
Ghost and Goblins
Wander the streets,
While kindly neighbors
Pass out their sweets.

Night time skies
Filled with screams and laughter.
Monsters go home when
The day is gone and after.

Autumn breezes splash
Against my face,
While colorful leaves
Fly all over the place.

Jack-O-lanterns
Light up the night.
Creepy, scary monsters
Try to give you a fright.

This season only
Comes once a year.
Next time it comes,
You know I'll be near.

Why you may ask
This is my favorite season?
It's very colorful and you
Can dress up funny for a reason.
