Reminisce

poem by: Kathleen Woods
Written on Feb 26, 2015

I want to take out my brain
and leave it somewhere
so maybe
those veins that are regularly filled
full of escapes
with still foggy endings
and pricks that stain
snowflake wrists
and
collapsed tunnels
that shatter
in reply to the movement of your hands
will be reminded
that they aren't hungry
anymore
