Fly Away

poem by: Annamarie Sampson
Written on Feb 23, 2015

I feel a tear... Is this fear?
I kneel on the rock, wishing he would talk.
I have wove up top to look down at the cove.
It's so high... Maybe I'll fly?
Our love was fake, so for your sake...
I crawl... and fall and hit the watery wall.
I fly... fly my way above the sky.

A lovely portrayal of one's feelings. Beautiful imagery.
