A little Night Music

The candelabra of moon and stars
Sparkle on the wavelets at the ocean edge
My heart is full of you
so completely full
Our love still on fire in early new passions.
I hear the wavelets splashing softly
dancing in the moonlight.

In the distance
someone is playing Spanish guitar.
I feel their fingers
strumming on my heart.
Passion and fire glowing in me..

The moist humid air is salty and pungent.
It purifies my senses finding long ago
lonelineness now banished forever.
Memories of lovers never found
I feel their passions red and on fire.

I need the sultry air to drown my needs.
To release my thoughts of you.
Someone is playing a Spanish guitar.
Note by note it is touching my soul

Uneasy at this intrusion but spellbound
by its soulful beauty.
In the distance
on this hot summer night
Someone is playing Spanish guitar
And my soul is weeping
